“Cozy Autumn Luxury Napa Wedding”

Alicia and Mandy knew each other for many years. It wasn’t until they finally accepted that they were falling for each other that they started dating. They loved each other with their whole hearts from the get go. As Mandy put it, “when you know, you know”. They got engaged in Old Jafa, Tel Aviv while they were vacationing together and the planning process began soon after. They found Curated because Alicia had come into our Bridal boutique, Grace + White Bridal looking for a wedding dress. Their stylist, Hannah is also a planner at Curated by Grace + White and they hit it off right away. Hannah understood what Alicia wanted in a dress and helped her find her dream Tara Lauren long sleeve, fit to flare gown.

Alicia told Hannah that she and her fiance didn’t have a venue yet and wanted to get married very quickly. After a first call with the two of them, Hannah learned it would be very soon. We planned a wedding in 80 days. After a full day of Napa venue tours, the couple couldn’t resist the cozy and luxurious setting that Carneros so uniquely has. The convenience of most of the guests coming from the Sacramento area gave them peace of mind that they would be able to pull off a wedding in such a short planning period. Alicia and Mandy share a love for bohemian decor as well as all of the fall colors that Napa has to offer. Hannah presented them with many options from paint swatches for signage, rental options, floral inspiration, ect and Alicia and Mandy were quick to decide on what they like which made the process smooth and easy for all of the vendors involved.

Their ceremony consisted of a beautiful triangle arch dressed with fall inspired florals and pampas grass to accent, the aisle was lined with lush blooms to create a pathway for the happy couple. The Cocktail hour was held on the Courtyard and Harvest Patio displaying a bar sign with three signature drinks. Each was named after their pups Benji, Oso, and Sammy. The escort wall was a fortune cookie display representing Mandy’s Asian descent. Each cookie had a custom fortune about love. Guests flowed into the dining room which was warm with candle light and all of the fall colors on the tablescapes. Each setting was displayed with a rattan charger stacked with a white stoneware plate to give dimension. Gold flatware to match the floral compotes, and a sage green water goblet to tie it all together. Once guests were seated, they were surprised with a Lion Dance performance by Lion Dance Me who came in from San Francisco. After their multi course dinner, there was a churro bar to represent Alicia’s Mexican culture for guests to indulge in while they danced the night away. Each piece of this wedding was hand picked and displayed with so much love. We wish Alicia and Mandy all the best in their marriage.

Favorite Things:

  1. It was so intimate, they only had 49 guests

  2. The attention to detail throughout the entire event was thorough and consistent

  3. Incorporating both cultures and making each family member feel welcome
