“A Timeless Affair”

Sophie + Troy were a fun couple to work with from the start. They had a clear vision of what they wanted for their big day but were open to fun and out of the box ideas. Their love for each other is deep and unconditional but also playful and fun. There is not a dull moment with these two, we are always laughing and smiling together. We wanted to incorporate these aspects into their wedding day. A key point for us was to make sure this wedding had personal touches everywhere guests turned. We had After the Tone, our phone guestbook where guests can pick up a vintage phone and leave a message for Sophie + Troy and a petal toss bar at the welcome area. The was accented by a beautiful custom welcome sign that matches the rest of the signage throughout the wedding.

The ceremony was under the big pecan tree flanked with beautiful floral arrangements resting on acrylic pillars. These pillars match our reception dinner ghost chairs as well. The cocktail hour had a swanky feel as it was poolside and had a beautiful escort wall statement piece. The first thing Sophie said on her design call with her planner Hannah was that she wanted a jam wall! We designed a beautiful wall to match the wedding aesthetic and had each guest’s name printed with their table number on individual jars of locally crafted jam.

The reception was a mix of classic and modern designs. We leaned into the black and white tablescapes and tied in acrylic elements. Gold framed pillar candle holders complimented the gold and ivory flatware for an elegant touch. The dance floor was nothing short of a wild party! Everyone had a great time dancing the night away and celebrating Sophie + Troy.
