“Mother of Pearl–The World is Your Oyster Little One”

When the co-host girls of Hauste reached out to needing an event planner for Hanna’s Baby Shower, Curated by Grace + White was thrilled! As a long time follower on Instagram, I knew they know how to host all the best dinner parties and I was sure the baby shower would be nothing short of amazing with @Hauste and @CuratedbyGW collaborating!

The theme of the baby shower was Mother of Pearl–The World is Your Oyster Little One! The theme inspired the entire design and location of the event. The venue was located in Downtown Sacramento just a few blocks from our sister company + office Grace + White Bridal. We did a walk through and the girls had so many unique and beautiful ideas! We designed a beautiful tablescape with modern plates and stunning gold flatware from Memorable Events. The tablescape included the famous Ikea ribbed tea lights and DYI oyster shell candles and of course, the stunning black bentwood chair was the cherry on top!

The food was incredible–the Hauste girls came up with an amazing spread of brunch items and an oyster shucking bar! Dessert was a tower of Milk Money donuts that were to die for! The biggest statement pieces from the entire event design included a selfie mirror with the “Growing Flores” logo that the mama-to-be made herself, a stroller with a floral installation and last but not least permanent bracelets for all the guests!! The shower was an absolute vibe and we feel so lucky they reached out to us to help them host! From event design and coordination everything went perfectly and the mama-to-be was so happy!!
