“Something Blue for the Bride–A Modern Boho-Chic Wedding Overlooking Carmel Valley”

Carmela + Zach’s terracotta, modern, boho-chic wedding at Tehama Country Club was romantic and stunning. It was so much fun wedding planning alongside Carmela + Zach and seeing the wedding design coming to life on the big day! To compliment the natural beauty of the venue, we chose to get upgraded wedding rentals. The bride and groom picked out a lighter crossback chair, modern plates and decided to use a terracotta ribbon to bring in a splash of color! Carmela was also a dream bride and made all of her own signs using Etsy templates and her trusty circuit!! What I loved about this wedding design is how less is more and being really intentional with your budget can still result in a stunning wedding!

The floral design was lush with pretty peaches and whites and really tied together the overall design. I’ll never forget the sweet moment Carmela saw her bouquet and burst into tears of happiness–it was finally setting in that she was a bride!! There were lots of sweet tears shed throughout the day. Carmela’s matron of honor/sister created a book with heartfelt notes from her bridal party. There was not a dry eye watching her flip through the pages of that very thoughtful gift.

We all cried once more when Carmela did her first look with her dad. Her dad surprised her with a vintage blue car rental to ride to the church in. They hugged, prayed, laughed and cried during their first look before getting into the car together. Such a sweet moment to see between a dad and daughter on her wedding day. After tying the knot in a very old traditional catholic church, Carmela and Zach were married!! Their wedding guests celebrated at Tehama Country club with stunning 360 views of the Carmel Valley and Monterey coast and then they danced the night away as Mr. + Mrs. It was a perfect day for the newlyweds.
