“An Airy, Organic, and Dreamy Summer Lake Tahoe Wedding”

As wedding planners, we often face all sorts of adversities and challenges on the big day–how we swiftly handle and overcome these challenges on the most important day of your life is where the wedding planner magic happens. Haley and Easton chose to get married at a family cabin that was nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Private Estate weddings such as these can be difficult to plan and require a lot more attention to detail. We worked closely with Haley and Easton to plan and design the most dreamy and magical wedding you can imagine. Haley and Easton’s wedding was perfectly planned and everything was going smoothly until a dark cloud started to come our way. Within minutes, the beautiful 75 degree weather with 0% chance of rain was quickly turning to 100% chance of thunderstorms. Our team, the team at Walnut & Main, and the As You Wish Catering team had already been so hard at work setting up and perfecting every detail when we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to break down the ENTIRE wedding and wait for the thunderstorm to pass.

As we anxiously waited for time to pass, we had to strategize how we were going to get everything perfectly set up in less than one hour before guests began to arrive. The pure magic of being a wedding planner is being able to pull all of this off without the couple even having a clue! We set every detail more perfectly than the first time and Haley and Easton arrived at their wedding and everything was absolutely perfect. Haley’s dream wedding wish was to get photos of her and her new groom in a family canoe in Lake Tahoe! As her wedding planner, all I could do was smile and say yes I can make that happen when in reality I had no idea how I was going to pull a 20’ canoe into the water, get a bride in it and have her stay dry all while managing to get the incredible photo she’d been dreaming of! Jess, of Jess Miriam Photo, was the ultimate hype girl. She went along with this idea and helped me with the canoe and captured the most perfect photos for Haley and Easton. My wedding planner heart was SO FULL and happy to make this dream wedding wish come true. Everything about Haley and Easton’s wedding was intentional and meaningful. From choosing the family cabin as their venue to having their little girls dressed as boho fairies be the flower girls to carefully curating a playlist and so much more. These very personal and intentional details made their romantic, boho wedding unforgettable. We’re so grateful to have been a part of their wedding and create magic for Haley & Easton.
